We are pleased to share that we will be hosting a concurrent session at the Women’s Funding Network conference Feminist Funded ’23: RISING – the largest gathering of global leaders in feminist philanthropy – in Washington, D.C. from September 11-14.
The Women’s Funding Network is a global alliance of more than 120 women’s funds and foundations spanning 14 countries. They provide strategies, research, and resources to support women’s funds, gender justice funders and allies. If you’re attending, join our session on Feminist Leadership in collaboration with The Bridgespan Group.
An intersectional approach to leadership and organisations
Date: Thursday 14 September
Time: 13:15-16:15 ET
Location: Eaton Hotel, Washington D.C.
Particularly given the backlash against women’s rights, gender equality and feminist activism, support for women leaders and feminist organisations is crucial – and doing so from an intersectional perspective. So what can funders do to support women of colour leaders? And, more broadly, how do we encourage feminist approaches to leadership and organisational development? Join us for a discussion to explore these questions, where you’ll hear what the research says and get a chance to hear from your peers.
