On Tuesday 30 March 2021, we launched the results of the FAIR SHARE Monitor 2021 and invited members of our community to join us in guiding discussions about gender equity, data and intersectionality in the social impact sector.

Meet our speakers and moderators

Traci Baird

Traci Baird, president and CEO of Engender Health, is an experienced and respected leader in the women’s health and sexual and reproductive rights field. Previously, she was the Executive Vice President of Programs for a global reproductive health organization, Ipas, where she held numerous leadership positions over more than 20 years. Traci has a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina, and has published articles in multiple public health and medical journals.

Anusha Bharadwaj

Anusha Bharadwaj is a member of the FAIR SHARE Action Circle and Executive Director of Voice 4 Girls, a social enterprise that educates and empowers marginalised adolescent girls with the vision to eliminate gender inequality and violence. She is also the Founder Director of SoCh for Social Change, a platform that offers young women a chance to become ‘future-ready’ and to develop their leadership capacities.

Leila Billing (moderator)

Leila Billing is the co-founder of We Are Feminist Leaders, a programme that supports individuals and organisations to embed feminist principles in the way they lead and work. She has held a variety of leadership positions in the international development sector, including at War Child UK and Girls Not Brides: The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage. She continues to work as a consultant for the global development sector, where she is also an anti-racism organiser.

Gabriela Bucher

Gabriela Bucher is the Executive Director of Oxfam International, a global network which fights inequality to end poverty and injustice. Ms. Bucher, who grew up in Cali, Colombia, is a champion for feminist leadership and  believes in the power of collaboration. Prior to Oxfam, Ms. Bucher was the Chief Operating Officer at Plan International, and led Fundación Plan Colombia.

Claire Dugan

Claire Dugan is Deputy Executive Director of Skateistan, an award-winning international NGO that empowers children in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa through skateboarding and education. Claire has over ten years of experience in non-profit management and financial controlling and is passionate about positive youth development, female empowerment and the role art plays in our society.

Vandita Morarka

Vandita is a young queer activist, organiser, human rights lawyer and a rights-based consultant. She is also the founder and CEO of One Future Collective. Vandita serves on the Board of Directors at CIVICUS and on the Board of Studies (Political Science) at Sophia College for Women. She is also an Acumen fellow, 2021.

Jay Goulden

Jay Goulden is a consultant on program strategy and innovation based in the UK. Since 2017 he has served as Head of Knowledge Management & Learning for the CARE International Secretariat’s Programs team, where he is responsible for coordinating the collection, aggregation and sense-making of CARE’s global impact evidence. Prior to working in CARE, Jay worked for several international and local NGOs in the UK and Central America, including Oxfam, Christian Aid, and International Alert.

Mónica de Pinto Ribeiro Hancke

Monica de Pinto Ribeiro Hancke is an experienced gender equality and partnership-oriented advocate, guided by intersectional feminist values and approaches and committed to transformative change in the sector.

Susan Sebatindira

Susan Sebatindira is the founder of The Black Humanitarian, a platform that amplifies Black voices in international development. She created this platform based on her experiences working as an international development practitioner, where she was frustrated with the level of under-representation of Black professionals within the sector, especially at leadership level. She has worked in both large and small international organizations across three continents.
