Unlocking the collective power of feminist movements to accelerate transformative change

A hand-drawn illustration of a network: colourful circular nodes connected by thick, red, brushstroke-like lines on a light blue background. The nodes vary in colour — including black, yellow, green, orange, teal, purple, grey, and white — and are linked in a dense web, suggesting connection, collaboration, or an ecosystem.

Connected Power is a 12-months, global initiative to create the first comprehensive mapping of the feminist digital ecosystem – and a blueprint for its future.

As women’s rights and democracy face pushback around the world, feminist leaders are using technology in powerful new ways: to organise, protect communities, document abuses, mobilise resources and build alternatives. Yet many of these digital efforts are underfunded, under threat and working in isolation, when collective power could multiply their impact.

Connected Power exists is here to change that.

Through participatory research with 200+ stakeholders worldwide, this project will:

Map the feminist digital ecosystem

From grassroots platforms and digital organising spaces to AI initiatives and feminist tech start-ups.

Surface what’s working

Showcasing feminist-led tools and platforms already driving social and democratic change.

Identify critical gaps and needs

Including infrastructure, funding, connectivity, safety, accessibility and governance.

Co-create actionable blueprints

Recommendations and policy frameworks to unlock the collective power of feminist digital movements and guide $100M+ in future investments.

Who is behind Connected Power?
