A feminist transformation in motion

FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Every contribution fuels our work on feminist data, strategies, and advocacy for systems, funding and accountability in the civil society sector.

Ending the year with hope.
Entering the next with power.

2025 has shown that feminist transformation in the civil society sector is real, measurable, and already in motion.

With Collective Futures, our end-of-year fundraising campaign, we are celebrating what we achieved together, and inviting you to help carry this hope into 2026 with power and resilience.

A feminist future is already being built.

Across the world, feminist leaders, organisations and movements are changing how power is shared, how decisions are made, and how care and accountability show up in our institutions. At FAIR SHARE, we work to ensure that the civil society sector itself lives up to these values.
2024 and 2025 have been challenging years: funding cuts, political backlash, and shrinking civic space have put pressure on feminist work everywhere. And yet, this has also been a time of remarkable resilience and creativity.

Collective Futures is our way of

– recognising the feminist leadership transformation already in motion,
– sharing what we have achieved together in 2025,
– and invite you to invest in the futures we want to together build in 2026.

Hope from 2025

2025 gave us real reasons for hope. Feminist leadership did not stay a concept — it showed up in practice.

This year, together with partners, practitioners and supporters, we:

Navigated a successful co-leadership transition

Our interim leadership constellation and new co-executive direction showed that shared power is not only possible, but also more sustainable and resilient for the organisation.

Received the PHINEO Impact Seal

A recognition of how the FAIR SHARE Monitor strengthens democracy by making inequalities in leadership visible and pushing for more transparent, accountable organisations.

Brought together over 1,000 participants at a virtual Feminist Leadership Convening

Creating space for learning, reflection and connection across borders, roles and identities.

Deepened our work with feminist data and digital infrastructures

From the FAIR SHARE Monitor to emerging digital ecosystem mapping, we continue to build the data and tools needed for long-term feminist transformation.

Supported organisations on their journeys to become more inclusive and feminist

Through programmes like The Inclusive Organisation of the Future, we worked with organisations to shift internal culture, address power imbalances and practise feminist leadership day-to-day.

These achievements give us hope: grounded in data, practice and community.
